At the center of these moves is Soeren Soltysiak, who will step into the role of Chief Executive Officer of Asia Reinsurance Solutions starting April 1, 2025. Based in Singapore, Soltysiak will report to George Attard, Aon’s APAC CEO of Reinsurance Solutions.
In this expanded position, Soltysiak will steer Aon’s reinsurance strategy across treaty and facultative lines, analytics, and operations essentially shaping how the firm responds to shifting client needs in one of the most dynamic insurance markets in the world. Prior to this, he played a key role as Strategic Growth Leader for APAC Reinsurance Solutions, where he helped accelerate Aon’s presence across emerging markets in the region.
Joining Soltysiak in this strengthened leadership structure is Musa Adlan,
who has been appointed Managing Director, Asia, Reinsurance Solutions. Adlan will continue to serve as Head of Southeast Asia Reinsurance Solutions, while also expanding his focus to refine Aon’s growth strategy, deepen client partnerships, and drive product innovation across the wider Asian market. He will work in close collaboration with Soltysiak and Aon’s regional product leaders, reporting directly to the new CEO.
To further bolster its specialized expertise, Aon also announced several senior appointments across its Life & Health and Retrocession divisions.
Pierre Vende and Danny Alexander will now serve as Co-Heads of Life and Health Reinsurance Solutions, reflecting Aon’s commitment to advancing risk advisory and reinsurance capabilities in this fast-evolving sector. Meanwhile, Soojin Kim and Cindy Gu have been named Co-Heads of Retrocession APAC, a strategic move to strengthen Aon’s retrocession operations amid growing regional demand.
Rounding out this leadership expansion, Tom Drake will take on the role of Chairman of Reinsurance Solutions Specialty, APAC, bringing with him years of experience in complex specialty reinsurance placements and client engagement.
