Encompass Insurance
Encompass is offering a “Shelter-in-Place Payback” for eligible auto policyholders, plus extra perks during the pandemic:
Payback Refund: About 15% of your April and May auto insurance premiums will be refunded.
Free Identity Protection: As part of the Allstate family, Encompass is offering free identity theft protection through the end of 2020 (sign up in April or May).
Extended Coverage for Deliveries: If you’re using your personal car to deliver food, medicine, or essential goods during state emergency orders, Encompass will cover it—even if your policy normally wouldn’t.
Payment Relief: Customers can delay up to two consecutive premium payments without penalty.
Nationwide
Nationwide is giving customers a one-time $50 refund per personal auto policy active as of March 31, 2020.
No action is required refunds will be automatically applied to your most recent payment method within 30 days.
Penn National
Penn National is providing financial relief in response to fewer cars on the road:
Premium Credit: 15% credit for two months (for policies active as of April 30).
Credits will be automatically applied to your next bill or refunded if your policy is paid in full.
Extra Support:
30-day grace period for late payments
Waived late and reinstatement fees
24/7 claims reporting
Donated 19,000 respirator masks to healthcare workers
Plymouth Rock
Plymouth Rock has introduced flexible payment plans and expanded coverage for delivery drivers:
Food & Medicine Delivery Coverage: Business-use restrictions temporarily waived for personal auto policies when delivering food or legal medicine (March 27–May 31, 2020).

Progressive
Progressive is returning about $1 billion in auto insurance premiums due to fewer claims during the pandemic:
Premium Credit: 20% credit for April (issued in May) and another 20% credit for May (issued in June) for active policies.
Credits will be applied automatically if your policy is paid in full, the refund will be sent to your payment account on file.
